Davis 6152 Wireless Vantage Pro2 with Aspirated Radiation Shield
The Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 line of weather stations retain all the great features of the original Vantage Pro line but now incorporate many additional features and improvements!
The Davis 6153 Vantage Pro2 Weather Station with Aspirated Radiation Shield transmits and receives data from up to 1,000 feet away (line-of-sight) – that’s more than three football fields in length! This upgraded weather station has all the features that made the original Vantage Pro so famous, yet adds many more features such as button realignment to make navigating to often-used functions much easier; a redesigned rain collector that is laser-calibrated to ensure the best accuracy possible; and a re-tooled Integrated Sensor Suite with upgraded electronics. Davis 6153 Wireless Vantage Pro2 Weather Station also has a 24 hour fan aspirated radiation shield to improve accuracy and readings even more!
The Model 6153 Wireless Vantage Pro2 consists of a console unit and an innovative integrated sensor suite that includes a rain collector with self-emptying bucket, temperature and humidity sensors and an anemometer. The sensor suite is housed inside the aspirated radiation shield, protecting the sensors against solar radiation and additional sources of reflected and/or radiated heat.
In addition, this high-tech Davis 6153 Vantage Pro2 Wireless Weather Station will track highs and lows (and/or totals and averages) for almost all weather variables for the past 24 days, months or years and track your local forecast!
With the expanded transmission range that can be extended with optional repeaters, this Davis 6153 Wireless Vantage Pro2 Weather Station includes an anemometer that can be mounted with the sensor suite or detached and placed in a separate location. Includes New Rain Gauge Design with Bird Spike Kit.

Feature
First and only weather station in its class to use frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology to transmit weather data wirelessly up to 1000′ (300 m).
Includes Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, integrated sensor suite (ISS), and mounting hardware. The ISS includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, 40′ (12 m) anemometer cable, and solar panel. Temperature and humidity sensors are enclosed in our patented, solar-powered, 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield. Shield combines active and passive aspiration to minimize the effects of radiation.
ISS is solar powered. Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter. Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included).
Wireless range is up to 1000′ (300 m) outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls under most conditions is 200′ to 400′ (60 to 120 m). Add wireless repeaters for distances up to 1.7 miles (2.7 km)
